Role in Ecosystem:

Walleye will do well in Iowa farm ponds. Contrary to popular beliefs walleye grow best in about 72 degree water.  They will however be difficult to catch when temperatures get warm. They do however consume a lot of forge fish so keep your population of bluegills healthy to enjoy some good walleye fishing.

How Many?

Twenty five 6-10" fish per acre
