Role in Ecosystem:

Grass Carp (White Amur) eat aquatic plants.  They prefer rooted succulent aquatic plants and will consume what they prefer in the pond first.  Contrary to some claims they DO NOT eat algae. We recommend 3-5 per acre depending on how much shallow water you have and the amount of vegetation in the pond.
